Distribution Alternatives for Software Vendors
Two alternatives for distributing Triage Client are available. As a software vendor, you can select either alternative or use both.
1. Distribute Triage with your Software Application
Triage Client can be bundled with your software application - on diskette or the distribution CD. When you build your application's profile using Triage Profiler, a single click generates all the Triage Client files needed and packages them with your profile for distribution.
Triage remains completely transparent to the end user. Customers need never know it's there, until a situation requires its use.
2. Distribute Triage from your Web Site
Triage provides an easy mechanism for you to distribute Triage Client from your Web site. A single click in Triage Profiler automatically generates the Triage Client e-support package for interactive Web use. The Triage Client e-support package includes a self-extracting client file and a generic HTML download page for Triage, which you can then customize as needed.
With this option, your customers can now interactively perform an audit of their system when a problem with your software occurs. A single click of the Triage link on your Web site is all that is needed to automatically download and run Triage Client. Nothing could be easier - for you, or your customer!
