Use workflow rules to create field relationships

This tutorial shows you how to create a relationship between two singe-choice lists.

Using workflow rules, we'll make the contents of the Functional Area list depend on the value chosen from the Type list. For documentation defects, Functional Area will list different documentation components, such as Administrator's Guide, Evaluator's Guide, Readme, and Tutorials. For software defects, Functional Area will list software components (no documentation components).

First, we need to add some documentation components to the Functional Area list, so that the list contains all possible choices for all different issue types. Then, we need to define workflow rules to dynamically hide and show choices based on the value of the Type field.
