MetaQuest Software / Vector Networks Launches Census 8.2 with Multi Language Support
August 01, 2009 - Atlanta, Montreal and Sheffield (UK).—
MetaQuest Software, a wholly owned subsidiary of Vector Networks, announced the immediate availability of Census 8.2 with Multi Language Support.
"Multi language support is crucial for our global client base. With emphasis on an expanded global market, this added feature represents a huge step for our existing and prospective clients," said Jeff Lalonde, MetaQuest Sales and Business Development Manager. "The ability for our clients to support end-users in their language of choice gives Census a continued edge in today's global marketplace."
Erick Yanez, VP Research and Development at Vector believes the continued focus of his team's efforts on improving performance and ease of administration in Census has paid off. "With the release of Census 8.2 our team has achieved never before seen performance metrics, and received extremely positive feedback with regards to simplifying the administration of Census."
The release includes several additional features, including:
E-mail Signature Support - An email signature consists of text added to all outgoing e-mail messages. Each user can create their own signature allowing for more personalized communication when dealing with end-users.
Firefox Spell Checker Support - Census 8.2 fully supports the spell-checker feature in Firefox, even for e-mails that are in HTML format.
Reserved License Support - Added to the already industry leading flexibility of the Census concurrent license model is the ability to reserve licenses for the most crucial Census users. While all users will still be able to take advantage of the pool of overall licenses, clients will now be able to reserve specific licenses for users whose access must remain available at all times.
