Weber & Associates, Inc.
MetaQuest's Census has had a tremendously positive impact on our consulting operations. We run three distinct business units, each with different rules for handling bugs, enhancements and other issues. Because Census provides such a high degree of customizability and such a friendly user interface, our users have been able to adopt Census with minimal training and without having to change their business processes.
Census has reduced the average time to resolution of issues by 24-48 hours. We have seen some issues that would have taken an entire day to resolve before, now with Census take only minutes. Also, with the Workflow Features that Census offers, I have been able to customize the process flow such that we have now been able to automate an entire layer of managerial controls.
The Timesheets package has saved us several hundred hours this year alone in terms of time spent by managers organizing and analyzing timesheet data. Now our managers and our executives can get a better handle on corporate, departmental and individual costs. I'm quite sure that as Weber & Associates continues to grow, we will make increased use of this in our software development operations.
The time and cost savings as well as the increased operational efficiencies that we've achieved since adopting Census has made it well worth the investment. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in applying engineering and information management techniques to both issue tracking and timesheet tracking in order to gain greater operational efficiency and further enhance the tactical advantages of their business.
